oh man so true. sadly though, i work with 40 and 50 year olds that are just like that. as a matter of fact, i'm about to go through another assistant because she's a lazy fuckwad that cant get out of her own way and when she does do work, she purposely screws it up so i dont give her anything again.
 
yeah, when she shows up for work. she just walked in.....40 minutes late. i hate this shit.

but really, i think it has a lot to do with how you're brought up. no matter what job i had, whether i was working at stewarts, waiting tables or doing multi million dollar closings at the firm, you do your fucking job and you do it as best as you can. you dont make excuses, you show up on time-if not early, you dont fuck around and you sure as fuck dont act like you have this sense of entitlement.
 
Yep, definitely agreed that its how your brought up to realize your role in society. Goddammit if my kids grew up to be lazy ungrateful little shit heads I would beat the shit out of them.

Le, I've said before and I'll say it again, I'll be your assistant. I'll ever get under your desk for you. Obvi, for a price ;)
 
It really is. I'm lucky that I grew up the way I did with my father's work ethics. Christ, I take pride in my work like no other. My hours are 8-5 as you well know and I'm here at around 7-7:30 every morning because really its the only time I can get shit done without my phone ringing off the hook. You need me to work late? No problem. Weekends? Yeah, you got it. Sure it sucks at times but a job is a job and it pays my bills and pays for me to go out and do awesome shit.

Hot damn! I've been looking for an assistant to work under me.......lol

Full benefits and decent pay good enough?
 
You definitely are a hard worker, even during the low times you still put 110% in.

And yep! Just no ghetto living. Maybe I'll hit up that couple in the Slingerlands who have a huge house and love me to see if I can rent some space :P
