Layering construction fence?

i lso wondered this and did an experiment. it actually doesnt help your speed because your skis are still only touching the top layer of the fence. if that makes sence. but it WILL help the turf be more sturdy and wont wobble or rip off on your ramp
 
i put down only 1 layer of fence on top of my turf because the fence is way faster but you have no control on your skis on the fence. the turf allows your skis to have something to hold on to a little better. layering fence over turf helped my speed and a little bit on control
