So, lacrosse season is finally here. You know what that means, every single fucking lacrosse player decides to bring their big ass lacrosse sticks to every single class they have, and start playing pass in the halls. Like really, we know you're all about that lax stuff, but do you really have to throw it around in everyone's faces for the entire season? They're everywhere.
 
High school or college? I know here in Minnesota the only kids like that anymore are freshman and we set them straight right away.
 
Where I am, it's the baseball players who are obnoxious. Yet varsity lax is laid back and they've won more state titles in the last 5ish years than baseball has ever won...
 
Where I'm from lacrosse is a pretty new sport, only been here about 6 years, so it's basically a joke, but there is one kid on our team from back east who kinda does this. He wears his practice jersey to school
 
Be sure to watch out for their precious flow and midcalfs. Also who could forget the pastel shorts and boat shoes? I used to lax but I quit because I couldn't stand it. I'd much rather see tall tees
 
Well as a lacrosse player, I make it my duty to get rid of all the freshman's douchey laxer mentality. I can't stand people that show off that they play lacrosse all the time, I know exactly how you feel!
 
Yeah, it seems that the only people who really do that are the sophomores, because for some odd reason only a select few freshman do it. And since it's near the beginning of the season they whip out their heads and start stringing them in class. That's mostly what the freshmen do.
 
its just high school bro. in high school (and some college) youre either outgoing and benefit from being a douche, or youre quiet and dont want to act that way, have less social success, but thrive later on when people smarten up.deal with it

As a lacrosse player at my school, we really don't seem to have this problem at all. I mean we wear our game jerseys on days that we have big games, and we wear our jackets/hoodies occasionally, but I can't even remember the last time one my teammates have come to school in obnoxious lacrosse shorts or a pinnie. And no one carries their shit with them here, it's just pointless to do really and there's no time during class to string or do any of that stuff (I'm also the only kid who knows how to string on the team)
 
My 15 year old brother and his "lax" bros are on the prowl again and it makes me want to vomit and bash their heads in with their stupid sticks. My cousin plays pro too so it's all that my family talks about at family gatherings. It makes me so fucking angry.
 
No no, let them have their fun. Professional lax players get paid about the same as a jiffy lube attendant and don't get recognized by the sport community. At least skiing can give you somewhat of a future if you're good enough
 
Im play lax for my highschool and every one on the team is chill about it. however one time i had to carry my stick around all day cause the locker room closed and i felt like a loser and got made fun of. its not cool brah
 
Oh god op sums up the lax bros at our school. Every spirit day that manage to percive as "lax day" and wear Kavu shorts sperrys all the lax pinnies they can find and the douchiest elites layerd with more elites so ya fuk you lax players
 
Where im from is where lax originated and my high school has one the last like 3 to 4 New york state titles so its pretty big here and all the lax kids do that, some of them are cool and party with me and my friends.
 
you think your school is big into lacrosse???? The highschool i graduated from has won 11 of the last 12 state championships. Its overrun with lax bros
 
Our lax team is so cocky it kind of amuses me. Every single kid on the team needs to be the guy that is always cracking a joke in class or hitting on the hot girl. They have a real good team this year but I just don't get how they have such an inflated ego individually and as a team just because they play lacrosse.
 
Michigan, but we play east coast and canadian teams. Havn't lost a game in the state in 10 years. Have a bunch of guys play D1 every year.
