I'm going to build a drop in out of mostly wooden pallets and was wondering how well it would work if i just covered the pallets with the plastic lattice without turf underneath

don't put anything under that lattice, except wood because the stuff s pretty damn flimsy, you won't even touch the carpet anyway, and if you did it would only slow you down. But have carpet for the jump and part of the tranny so you can at least turn.

may i ask what you use for your take off if its not turf?

Carpet =/= turf

when he says carpet he talks about standard carpet that you put in your house, not green astro turf.
