Last Night

Decided to head up to Cascade, Idaho. (For those of you who don't know where that is it's in the mountains outside of Boise, Idaho.) It was right around midnight, super stoked to go hang with friends at a cabin. Than this happened. I WAS NOT DRIVING.

RUINED MY NIGHT, but thankfully everyone is alive and swell. I have a burned arm and messed up leg and forehead. we hit a barricade head on cause the girl driving was going WAY to fast. to say the least lesson learned: you are not invincible.

anybody else had events lately that have changed there mindset a bit?

it was one of the 35 mph ones and she was going like 55 and i reached for the "oh shit" bar and BAM saw a white light and bailed outta the car. sketchy, but sooooo glad everyone is ok.

A lot of people think that nothing can hurt them. its untill that one time it does you realize that. Im happy you are alive to live/shred another day. live life to the fullest but dont be stupid

Last night i almost hit someone walking on the road, she jumped out of nowhere. it was pretty scary, if i connected im pretty sure that person would be in intensive care or the morgue by now considering i was driving a 99 suburban. i would most defs hate myself for the next while.
since then i realized that ive been a careless driver and am now trying to make an effort to drive the speed limits and be a very cooperative driver... nothing like the 17 year old highschool senior i am. i sortve think everything happens for a reason. and this event is just showing myself and others that shit can get real very, very quickly. i am not at all a great driver considering i have little experience. i should chill on that accelerator and pay more attention.
this goes to all of you new drivers, just cuz you have your G2 and passed that test doesnt make you invincible. you can still fuck shit up with that ton of hot iron you hurl down concrete roads.

deezy you are the man, this summer you should trek down and party with me and kent again just for fucks sake.

i have never been involved in any, but the stretch between bozeman and bigsky through the valley always scares me, cause every year there are more and more crosses for people that have died

I really dont get that. In terms of mountain roads, that road is real mellow, its almost always clear and unless you are speeding like a complete idiot none of the curves are that sketchy. Though I suppose that answers it right there, people drive like idiots.

its not so much how im driving, but when it is pitch black and snowing and then a truck comes around the corner.

glad no one was injured and im thrilled to see you doing your part

and happy to hear no one was hurt morgen. how did you burn your arm?
