Last night my mind got raped...for 2 and a half hours.

So if you've seen Inception you probably felt the same way after you walked out...and you probably had a sick dream adn the spinning top was in it at least twice (or it was just me).

The movie was sick without a doubt but when it got to the end and DiCaprio spun the top and it didn't drop and the scene cut to credits I wanted to punch everyone in the face around me. Is there going to be a second or is that it? I WANT MORE!

I was pissed but also intrigued and now all I can think about is the reality of inception and if it's something the military/CIA or something along those lines really could develope....did anyone else who saw the movie feel the same?

Don't be alarmed my ass was left untouched...but my mind will forever be altered.
 
Movie fucking sucked, wasn't a mind fuck at all. It was just plain retarded the entire time. And the top fell at the end.

Clearly you're either young or smoked yourself stupid. I bet if you saw mulholland drive, one of the most studied and mysterious films to date, you'd say it was retarted. did you know there are meanings imbeded in movies and they're not all pointless and mindless comedies? Vigin Suicides is a good example as well.

Watch the lion king and then think about it from a religous perspective (christianity to be specific) and figure that out...

I just saw it because i was way too busy to see it until this past weekend. and imax was pretty sold out for a while in my area
 
Okay here is the final point I'm going to make then I will let this run out for everyone to destroy my stupid karma rating and then I will delete it for good...

A mind fuck is a movie that leaves you thinking for an extended period of time post-viewing of how the ideas played with in the plot can be implicated to reality. The Matrix, The Virgin Suicides, Mulholland Drive are all good examples. You are left with thoughts of how and if this movie were implicated into a realistic situation, what would be the probable outcomes and how would it effect the way we vuiew the world as it pertains to our every day lives.

Before you all rip me apart think about movies you've seen, not baked or fucked up in any way, and had legit "what if" thoughts after, even if only for a few moments then you brushed it off.
 
Could you explain to me why this or any of the other shit you brought up about your life is relevant? Nobody on here respected you any more because of what you do... you're still coming off as an arrogant asshole. I liked Inception, but this thread just irritates me.

the film was created to make you think deeply introspectively...there are blogs and sites dedicated to the analyzing of the movie. the director/writer has left the meaning open to discussion but won't reveal it until someone hits the nail on the head....it's a great film if you can appreciate it for what it's intentions were.

1st. The fact that there are blogs dedicated to a movie tells nothing of its credibility. There are probably nearly as many blogs saying how much Mulholland Drive sucked as there are praising it.

2. David Lynch won't reveal anything about the meaning. This could be because THERE IS NO MEANING TO REVEAL! People always ask him this and that about the plot but he has no answer because he probably made the movie in a heavily drug induced state with no specific plot in mind.

---A films intentions do not make it great. Ever. Was Zardoz a great film? No. Yet the director clearly wanted to make some mindfuck life changing movie. Was I Heart Huckabees great? Fuck no. It was lukewarm wannabee intelligent movie. So no, it's not a great film because of its intentions.
 
at first i didnt understand what was going on(lil stoned) but then i started fully understanding it half way thru and was like OHHHHHHHHH!!! lol. but after i was like obeee fuck how that work? lol and ppl that are hatin, wtf is wrong if he wants to talk about how he got mind fucked let him, you got smokes on here making threads about the stupidest shit.
