Find the area enclosed by the x-axis and the curve

x = 2 + e^t, y = t − t^2

it's due in 20 but i have been at this problem set all day..

thanks in advance

Above is only necessary if there are 2 functions involved. This question involves a single, parametrized curve. The proper course of action here is to eliminate the parameter, find the bounds (which in this case are the points where y=0) then integrate like you would any other single variable function. Good luck!
