Alright I need some help urgently. Tomorrow I may go through with the purchase of this laptop:

I need help from anyone that knows about computers. I'm mostly looking to have it for stuff like school work, internet browsing, music, videos, and possibly gaming depending on what it can run. If you can help me out I will kindly give you karma for your input. Thanks.
 
youre paying a grand for that? or no? how much? cause the computer is not worth that much, 6, 7 hundred tops. sony makes a very good computer, fw series is what i have, and it is superb.
 
dude, you are completely wasting ur money if you buy thatyou want 4 gigs of ramat last a dual core 2.00 processora dedicated graphics ardif you like music and videos (porn) you want at leas 250gb hard driveand you want it compact?= 13.3 inch monitornon compact= 15in+
if you buy what you have posted i willslap you sillythe link i posted is for outlet refurbished and recertified laptops, i would not reccomen this if i had not used this service, i purchased my desktop ( xps 720) and a laptop (xps 1730) and they are both phenomenal what i would have paid 4000+ for each, i got them both at just ofer 1,000 dollarsif thats ur price range, you can buy a gamers preformance laptop for the same pricethe laptop you posted will be outdated in about a year btw

i didnt even look at your link, but get a macbook, and upgrade it to 4gb of ram and its perfect. thats what i just did, and the switch from pc was soo easy, a few hours of working with this thing and ive already figured it all out. no more error messages, doesnt freeze up, its QUIET as hell.

but the main reason i got it. no virus'
 
hahaha ok buddy. do explain? you cant bash sony.... the laptop he posted is absolute garbage, which you also stated. i dont know anything cause i told him about a sony fw?
 
Well I'm only paying $280 for it and it's fine if its outdated in a year due to the fact that the one I'm on is a Dell Latitude X300 from 2000 with a 20gb hd,512mb ram, and a horrible graphics card. This one is dying and I have 0 kb of room left after deleting everything but the bare necessities, itunes, firefox, and aim. It has come to the point where I can't even watch videos on it anymore.
