Laptop for Marketing Career Help

I am about to graduate college in June and head into a career in marketing, so I am looking to get a new laptop that will suit my needs.

I have been a PC man my whole life, but I am not opposed to switching to a Mac. My only concern is that many businesses use PCs, so I would have to learn the differences between programs on a Mac and on a PC.

I also plan on installing photoshop and some kind of video editing software as well to improve my multi-media skills, so any advice on a video editing software would be appreciated.

If anyone that has any experience/knowledge in this area could help me out I would appreciate it.

The majority of the creative industry uses macs. I always suggest them, but it does come down to personal preference a lot - macs and PCs are not totally incompatible like they used to be.

I really love everything about my macintosh devices and suggest them to everyone.

If you can hold out until you get a job and figure out what they might prefer, then go for it - if not, I would suggest looking into a higher end mac laptop. Spendy but worth it.
