i find it wayyyyyy easier to land switch, because i cant backseat. it seems like 1/2 the time i land forwards something goes wrong unless im straightairing

which do you guys prefer?

and i searchbarred

switch, easier to ride away from a sketch landing, if im landing forward and backseat i usually just let my feet go from under me unless it's something new im trying to land, not worth the shinbang of landing and staying up from a mad backseat landing

i did this 1 a few days ago and was flying down this hill and didnt have time to look back and i ran into a dog. hahaha. i guess stomping a trick forwards is always nice

i agree. i afterbang much harder when i land switch, however, with a forward landing you can do lean-bang, which is just as sick.

tough decision. i guess switch off rails, forward off jumps. or vice versa. i can't decide.

it really depends, 3s and 7s i dont really like, but switch 5s are like butter. but usually switch i guess...switch 5s being the exception...

fuck me, i did the same thing... cut the shit out of the dog's legs, down to the bone ... they took the dog inside and this girl came out and said, "both of her legs were broken, so we took her out back and shot her..........." i felt so bad, then she said she was kidding... bad joke.
but i still feel bad for the dog, now it's all bandaged up and is deathly afraid of me whenever i shred park at that hill. enough of the story, to have some relevance, i prefer landing switch for sure.

do you ski near a humane society?...i don't know about anyone else but i don't have random creatures scuttling around my hill as often as I'd like

hah, no, it's a small hill near home, a little mom 'n pop kinda mountain. super chill, but yah they have two dogs and one is always outside chillin with little kids and hangin on the deck. unfortunately landing switch and skiing out of the last rail near the base led me to shredding the dogs legs apart. funny part is she is still outside chillin even after the near-death experience.

this might sound kind of gaper so excuse me
but i am having trouble landing switch i can get the rotation and the landing but riding away i think i lean to far forward and kind of ride on my tips and tend to either fall on my side or on my face about half way down the ride-away.
any comments or help?++k

switch is way easier, for the reason that you can see the landing before you are finished spinning. if your trying to do a 7 on a jump that isnt that big, you are pretty much landing blind. if you are spinning a five, after you get 360 your just turning your body the last 180, your head is staying in the same place.

Since my mountain doesn't have jumps except for shitty little burns on the side of the slope I say switch since forward landings equal toe jams in the flat. On actual landings on actual jumps I am more comfortable landing forward but switch is still better.
