lafalien started from a drunk kid named 'bazil' who couldn't read the writing on someone's decyfer hat and thought it said lafalien. it's just a followup to the original dope steeze started by the decyfer crew.

kinda reminds me of how the company GUESS is trying to rip off GUCCI's style by mimicking their 'G' logo and pattenr style on their stuff. sure some people think guess is cool (just like lafalien) but the real pimp niggas know that gucci (or in our case decyfer) is where the true style's at.
