Lack of a good & realistic Skiing Video Game

There are all kinds of Sport Games like : Shaun White Snowboarding, Travis Rice feat. SSX, Tony Hawk Pro Skater.... even Barbies Horseriding .... Why is there no Skiing Game for Xbox or PS3 to play when u can't hit the slopes ? (Don't leave a comment with "SSX on Tour" please...)
 
hm. your right. i have never thought about this. i cant believe this has never been discussed on NS.
 
Because the money isn't there, of course we would play it but a majority of gamers wouldn't so from a business perspective it makes no sense. I think there is one called SNOW that has been in production for years, not sure if it will ever drop. You are just saying what everyone is thinking......also REPOST.
 
What an unique idea!! Ur a fuckin genius!But seriously, play freak out xtreme freeride and jibbin until jiblife comes out... so just keep playing them forever i guess.
 
what is this "video game" you speak of? when I was a kid there was this board game called 'Candyland'. it came with a VHS tape you would watch while playing. Is that what you mean by video game?
 
Hmm. That's very good idea. My friend told me, that his uncle works for EA and it might be happening.
 
I'm not going to be a jerk or anything, but just attempt to use the searchbar next time. As everyone else said, this thread has been made a million times before.

Well, awhile ago I e-mailed almost every video game production company out there. EA, activision, THQ etc etc. EA and THQ said they would forward the idea to their head developers, but nothing from them for the past month. I don't expect them to do anything either really. It would be nice, but I knew they wouldn't do anything. I just thought there was a slim chance that's why I even tried.

Oh well, maybe Jib Life will eventually come out in a few years and we'll have that...

um whatever happened to the half pipe game for iphone devolped by tanner hall? it said it was supposed to come out around x games in january, and i havent heard anything about it since it was announced.
 
Perhaps NS should send a mail or something to some game developers discussing the fact that freeskiing has become such a notorious sport and making a game out of it won't be a waste of money !! Something like Skate but for skiing ! But I believe that after Olympics, you'll find more and more games of skiing !
