Lacing up liners?

Bought new boots and the liners come with laces. I'm getting my liners molded today, but is it necessary to put the laces on?

What boots are they? Generally to mold te liner it won't really matter. I would not tighten laces tight if I was moulding. Most important part for moulding is havin the foot in a good neutral position so make sure you have some form of footbed before you mould.

K2 pinnacle 130's. I didn't have the laces on while they were molding, I'm just not sure if it's worth it to put them on for skiing

I would especially if you plan on touring with them. I have been adding laces to liners for years as I like the snug feel it offers in the cuff. Try it out though, it can make the boots quite hat to get on. You may find it easier to put the liner on first, do the laces up then step into the shell. If you don't like the feel you can easily take them off.

Forsure, I'll try that. Thanks!
