Laced weed involved in a car accident

hey so today at school we had an all school meeting about DUIs and a state trooper came in and talked to us. he mentioned many cases involving alcochol, texting, drugs, etc., but one that caught my attention was one regarding a boy who had smoked "a fat ass blunt" and then took a drive with his buddies, going over 80mph. is it just me, or does something just not add up?

Smoking weed impairs your ability to make decisions. AKA drive a car, some people can handle it, others cant. They got in a wreck. Or the cop is just drawing a positive correlation between smoking weed and crashing cars, which may or may not be related. take all statistics with a grain of salt.

what? 80 haha I speed all the time when Im sober or stoned. We had a meeting dug assembly for just sophmores when I was in sophmore year and they tried to tell us a stories about people dying either in crashes on weed or just being to high. Turns out all those people were also drunk so we totally disproved the people at the drug assembly. Then they tried to tell us smoking weed would get us cancer and the smoke is more harmful than cigarette smoke. This kid whipped out his Iphone and totally disproved them with a berkley study that showed it that weed didn't show sings of stimulating cancer growth and that the smoke is way less harsh than tobacco smoke.
