Hi,

A friend and I wanna go to Laax next season, but we find it pretty hard to find some accommodations.

We have read that some of you guys on NS have been there, so we were wondering if you could

help us.

And yes, we have tried google.

Riders palace is pretty cheap but pretty basic as well.

If there's a larger group of you try Rocks resort - really nice apartments where the bathrooms are also saunas.

don`t get stuck in Laax in your search. try to find a place in flims, usually way better possibilities and everything`s pretty close together plus there are nightliners if you wanna go out to laax.

when do you plan on going? maybe i can help you out if you give me some more informations on what exactly you guys are looking for.

I'm actually skiing the whole season in Laax/Flims...

What timeperiod do you planing to stay there? Longer then a month or just a week or two? What's your budget how much money do you want to spend (accomodation/food/party)? how many ppl are you?

Riders palace is for sure not a bad idea you can sleep there for like 35 swiss franks per day, but you can't cook there, so you have to go eating somewhere else (not rly cheap). for partying and lift access its for sure rly good place to stay.

To find a room for longer timeperiod is not easy, because they want you to rent them for the whole season most of the time...

here is a link to a backpacker in Laax (village) not as near as the riders to the lifts. but as said, there are shuttles which give you good access to flims or laax...

I hope I could help you, ask if you want to know more!

We are two persons, who don't need any luxury and our main concern is price. We are willing to spend around 300-400 CHF per person per month. We are staying there for most of the season (November 1st 2012 - April 30th 2013).

Any help would be highly appreciated!

I guess it isn't the type of place you'll stay but it's worth mentioning for anybody who searches for this type of thread.
There's actually a hotel inside the top lift-station by the big ass park. I have stayed there before, in the morning you can get riding at sunrise on the untouched groomers before the lifts are even spinning.

I've been going there for the last 10 years and now we have to book a year prior so it is probably to late but you can try. Also it's not the cheapest place to stay but you do get breakfast and dinner. You can try to rent a room further away. It's cheaper but you will have to take the bus everyday.
