Kung Fujas

So I've been looking for new skiis for awhile and went to a ski shop sale today and was looking at the 2010 kung fujas with griffon schizos for $620. I ski probably a 1/3 park 1/3 all mountain 1/3 powder. I'm 5'11 and 168lbs. The only ones they have are 189's which seems huge to me. My other skiis are 177walls. Since the fujas are rockered and all I know it won't feel that long since there isn't 189cm actually touching the snow, but still is that too big? I'm also worried that these are not aggresive enough on hardpack and won't allow me to hold turns well. I ski trees a lot and want to be able to link turns. I have to decide whether I'm throwing down for these or not tomorrow. Any thoughts? My other option is ARV's since they are more all-mountain oriented. Thanks!

i put the 179 fujas up against my 185 rossi brigades, and they were almost the same size. the fujas were like a cm shorter. so yea the 189 might be a lil unnecessary for you

Yea those will probably be a little long for ya. My 179s measure to about 183-184 so the 189s will pobably be about 194. Those will measure above your head by a good 10+ cms.

dont do it man. you want 179 for sure, especially coz you want to ski park and trees. the rocker is tiny anyway, the 189's are big skis and for what you want they're to big. these skis hold really well anyway and they carve like no ones buisness

If I were you I'd go with the bridge, you sound like an aggressive skier and the Bridge is much stiffer than the Kung Fujas.

except the bridges blow and the fujas's dont.

i HATED the bridge. possibly the worst ski ive ever ridden.

im 5'11 and have the 179 Kung Fus, and as an all mtn ski, 189 would def too big.

as a pow only tool, yes. all mtn no
