Kracked Skulls Longboards

So I am about to pull the trigger on a KS, but I just wanted to confirm some things first.

The Scimitar deck is the same as the normal one, just with some deeper cut outs to accommodate bigger wheels right?

And how do they flex? I am 5'9" 145lbs and will probably buy the 44" Scimitar. Any info on that?

thats sick! they are great boards, i have the 44" scimitar, so much fun.

i think they are the same, but there is what you said, and it comes in different lengths.

if you dont like the flex, you can just send it back, they are a super legit company, i emailed them with questions about my deck and i got responses within 3 hours.

its a really flexy board, i weigh 120 and i get a pretty decent flex out of it, but i think you should be fine. if you have any other concerns, just email them, they have incredible customer service. they basically walked me through assembling mine.

I bought a kracked skulls for my first long board and its sweet but the build quality isnt as good as say a Neversummer or something but if your on a budget they are sick!

The Scimitar is a different shape, has more flex and allows bigger wheels than the M1.

I have an M1, one of my friends has a scimitar and the scimitar is definitely a nicer ride. Get it in the longest length and you'll have a great time.

The build quality is excellent especially for the price. And if you have any problems William will replace it no questions asked.

I don't know much about KS boards but I've heard good things.

I just bought a Gravity Mini Carve (160 with shipping) and if you are on a budget they are great boards. I would highly recommend.

I just ordered the scimitar, i will get back to you with the flex and everything, i weigh ~210, so i got will to add in an extra layer to stiffen the flex. I ordered a 44".

kscrazy = discount code.

I haven't ridden either but I've heard that the Loaded Dervish is a good board, but overpriced. I've heard that the Scimitar is a good board and is reasonably priced. That should give you my opinion.

i had one of those my first on broke real quick he replaced it free though and the second one lasted a year now its gettin sketchy super fun board though its realy bouncy so u can jump around and spin on it and it was solid on big hills i had super loose trucks to

i ve tried a bunch of other boards but none of them felt as cool to ride on thana crakced skull its so flexy and smooth and sick shit i wanna ride it lol

its stiffer than a loaded, really not by much, but its definitely stiffer.

the KS is so low to the ground that if it was too soft it would drag when you carved you hard. the dervish and most other decks can flex like crazy because they have room to. the KS is still plenty soft, and rides AMAZING. i far prefer it to any board ive ever ridden. i have friends with loaded decks and sector 9's and landyachts, and they all LOVE riding my KS.

its a really really fun and smooth stable ride, its great for sliding or dancing or just regular carving.

oh and the scimitar does have deeper cutouts for bigger wheels/different style wheels. the regular M1 can only use wheels with side set bearings.

i have a dervish and i love it, mines set up pretty loose so its really fun just carving around, and small hills are alright... theyre arent tons of big hills where i live so mines no good for that kind of stuff, i mean, you can do hills, but mine wobbles alot while bombing.

Kracked Skulls decks are super super flexible. I weigh a little under 200 and when I ride mine I feel like its going to bottom out sometimes (it never does though). Honestly its not a particularly refined flex, its not like a proper flex pattern (like on my Original) when the board flexes right where you want it to and nowhere else, its just sort of floppy. Its really bouncy and really fun though, responds well for dancing. I would always recommend KS.
The Scimitar actually also has an extra layer of wood on the tips of the deck (around where the trucks bolt on) to reinforce everything and make it flex a little less. IMO its worth it, but mostly just so you can get BigZigs.
The longer you get your deck, the flexier it will be. I have a 46" so thats the longest you can get.

this is sort of a thread jack but im looking to get my first long board and these seem to be the best to start with, but for someone who is looking to cruise hills but also get into carving, what size should i get?

Hey ive been looking at getting a scimitar for a while now but cant decide on what features to get, like length, wheels, and if ill want extra glass or not. I just want it for cruising around town, carving, and doing smallish hills. Im 6 foot and 170 lbs if that helps.

Sorry for thread jack, and +k to all responses
