Knuckle Huck 2020

Holy shit, that was righteous. Great vibes, phenomenal meat hucking. A Hall out for blood after getting robbed doing some insane spintowin. Audibly giggled at Todd Walnutz mic'd up calling his shots throughout his tricks in his first X-games in half a decade. America's sweetheart, Quan showing up and out with phenomenal style, impossible not to root for. Henrik dragging knuckle like a silverback, balls like one too after that dub (was waiting all comp to see if someone it). Nice to see TYW back on skis. Peyben beating the shit out of himself. Magnus havin fun with it. Colby continuing his dominating tear, everything clean as a christian cucumber. Awesome seeing the x-games rook take gold at the age of: younger than me. Thoughts? Should there be silver and bronze hardware come 2021?

Whoever this women is commentating is terrible. I’d rather listen to Wallisch commentate his own runs over her. Just catching up but so far typical xgames judging spin to win. Henriks trick so far was the best.

Jen Hudak? I actually thought she did a pretty good job.

Wallisch calling out the rode 5 from the joss edit as he did it was so dank. Also really wish Peyben landed his signature half misty to switch carve thing, kinda seemed like this knuckle didn't really work for it

i was hoping the judging would be on creativity but seemed to still be spintowin. definitely one of the most entertaining events ive watched.

Even thought it was cheesy, I thoroughly enjoyed watching TWall ski while doing the commentary. What a fucking legend.

She wasn't amazing but she was wayyy better than the dude with they gray hair, he couldn't name a single trick

All the commentary is terrible. It’s all just non stop banter for the sake of having banter.

grey haired guy: Tom how do you feel about this new judging format?

Tom: this is such a unique group of skiers out here tonight it’s great to have the knuckle huck!

its all filler noise

I was only able to catch the last 15 minutes, but shoutout to whichever one of you degenerates answered my NewSchoolers Callout in the Youtube Chat!!!

(I was then banned from posting for saying "fuck this shit everyone go watch the NS Stream on Twitch instead...)

1) Henrik landing that last dub to overtake Tanner in medals would have been an iconic moment in history.

2) The “rookie” label getting thrown at Quinn and Colby (as factual as it was) made me cringe every time

3) Colby is consistently a machine

4) I’m not a track pant guy but Torin’s Armada kit is absolute fire!

The chat was unbearable. From jerries constantly spamming snowboarding rants to young vishnu fanboys saying Colby had no style. I think only two of us answered the chads call.

Basically what I got out of last night was Stevenson is one hell of an athlete, Todd Walnuts is as fun as ever, and dollo is still a wild ass animal

If he would have had another chance at it he woulda put it to bolts. Dub would've been all time for sure, everyone on the 'podium' at the bottom had their jaw on the floor.

dude what is wrong with kids like this, like I love vinshu and swervy skiing but that doesn't mean all other types of skiing are automatically wack

dollo getting the most x games medals makes you think about how hard thall could’ve cleaned up if they had pipe, slope, big air, knuckle huck and realski back in the early days. T could’ve legit cleaned up 5 medals at a single x games each year

Lol yep - Two people answered the callout, one person told me to "head east from the base" and the X Games account had no idea what I was talking about tried to link some stupid video.

I just rewatched the knuckle huck, Henrik and Quinn had the most variety and I think one of them should have taken the top spot. A Hall had more variety than Colby as well.

X games should provide a secondary stream with lil Chris and steve commentating. I’d pay extra and actually probably watch the x games then. Uncensored of course

Yea I felt the same way. What Colby did was impressive no doubt, but he did almost the same thing, over and over. Quinn and Henrik showed a lot more variety and creativity and with the way the announcers kept harping on about how the event was all about creativity it was weird to see the win go to the guy who just spun the most.

Didn't he do it both ways?

left the first two hits and switch right on the last two. Outside of that, on each attempt he spun, margarined, and spun to win with a cork on all attempts, while other competitors experimented with a variety of axes
