Kneissl Soft Boot

Has anyone ridden on the kneissl soft rail boot yet? If so, how is it?

My friend has them, they're a pretty heavy boot but maybe it's just because of his size. I've tried them on but they were 2 sizes too big for me so I can't really judge them.
