Kitten Factory Carbon A-Sender

Intersting I guess?

Big thing I see that separates it from the day makers is that it requires a tech toe.

Questions I have that I think will be important:

-Price?

-How hard is it to get into that toe? Tech toes are hard anyway, that looks even harder to me.

-Will it be coming out in a version that accommodates other bindings soon?

Hoping to get my eyes on an actual pair!

Very interesting. If the price point is right, might be worth the 150$ to have CAST put tech toes in our straight alpine boots..

Just saw it in person and it is crazy light, and very rigid. I was told the initial price point would be around $400. Sounds like the way they're producing them right now is very labor/time intensive, so maybe we'll see that price drop lower if they can increase production.

Just pulled the trigger on the cast system, but I'm looking forward to seeing how these perform

Let me know how you like the Cast system! Really leaning that way for my next resort/sidecountry set up. The stand height on my Duke's drives me crazy...

Will do! I'll probably make a thread about it once I've got a few days on the system. As far as the boots go, I picked up a pair of last years K2 Pinnacle 130s which come with din and tech toe/heel. So no need to send my boots off to Cast.

Just grabbed a pair off their kickstarter page www.kickstarter.com/projects/1966374191/carbon-a-sender?ref=email
