So I am setting up two Kingswood Group buys, one in the US and one in Canada.

The deal is 10% off the skis and about half off of the shipping which comes out to over $100 savings. Plus the NZD is really low right now so you can get skis for under $600 US.

I need 5 orders for each group, I already have one for each. We are hoping to do this buy August and you'll get your skis within 3 weeks of ordering.

I'll have the whole lineup for demo in Tahoe this season and will be making a road trip to Utah and Colorado. I'll be setting up demo days at a couple resorts along the way so look out for more info come thanksgiving when I plan the trip.

I've had a 185 regular midfat mounted with Nx21s for a few months now.

Kwood fucking rocks!! I love these skis. I am currently in the process of making my own, so I should off most of my skis. The two I kept are a pair of Igneous and Kingswoods, if that means anything to you, which it should.

These skis are legit.
 
if they made cooler graphics id consider those. i need something to look at on the ski lift.

u got any used ones u want to sell?
 


first....not considering some of the best made skis in the world cause they dont have cool enough graphics is kind of dumb, IMO, but to each his own.

you are in luck, though. They have been working with some local NZ artists and will soon have more graphics to offer.

My Kwoods have one of the graphics I believe they will offer soon.

Some what of a Tron graphic, but I like it. They will hopefully offer more graphics soon.

If you want a sick graphic, get an on3p with the PVN topsheet =)

 
I don't have any used ones for sale but I may eventually next spring as I am going to be demoing them out all year.

The skis are so legit. Try to find a negative word about them anywhere online if you don't believe it, you can't. They are by far the best finished custom product out there. The bases are level even, that is really hard to do on a wide ski, just look at Bro models and Capitals and you'll see what I mean. Most Bros need three full tunes before they're even near flat.

We put my Fats and Midfats up against some different name brand stuff for next year in a real inspection and they are better finished than even some of the biggest names out there. They look much better in person than on their page.
 
I feel like I need to go out and defend bros a bit.

The reason the 1st season Bros were not flat in the base is because there was no 2mm channel routed in the sidewall for the edge to fit. Now that channel is routed and the bases are pretty flat.

BUT....I will say that the Kingswood are very very very well made. I've been very impressed. The only company in the world that makes a even higher quality product is Igneous, but those guys are the best ski makers in the world, withouy a doubt in my mind. IMO the Kwoods are a close second right now.

The Kingswood finish is very well done as well.
 
For $1000 per pair they better be the best and I believe you when you say they are.

The cool thing about the Kwoods is they are in direct competition pricewise with typical name brand retail pow skis in stores that are made so cheaply in comparison.

And while the Bros ski awesome and are rediculously light for their dimensions they still aren't well finished. I saw a new unmounted pair from this springs batch and they needed some work.
 
agreed that based upon cost Kingswood are the best.

If price is not an issue, Igneous is untouchable.
 
come to utah and demo those suckers out. i want 1 (one) ski to does everything. carving forwards, backwards, TIGHT ass trees and open bowls. and hit a rail or jump or cliff. i dont know if i can be steered away from my 189 vicious.

You need a 185 Midfat in the Standard flex. I would say buy Iggy's but a) he should keep them

b) bamboo sidewalls= BC, not jumps/cliffs

c) If you buy through me it supports my demo
 
a) would love to keep them, maybe I will. But to get certain things funded I may need to sell them.

B) I was told by Alex that this pair would not have any durability issue no matter what I did for them. He just said the bamboo is lighter, but would be in no way weaker. Igneous has maple sidewalls, for reference, and Bamboo is 20% stronger.
 
I would just assume that gluing in a peice of wood that thin would be trickier business than abs or what have you. Maybe I am wrong, Alex is the man and I would never doubt him. It just seems like if he could make it as strong with a bamboo sidewall he would do it for his consumer you know? I don't doubt that Bamboo is strong enough that isn't the issue, I just wonder if it isn't harder to do and possibley more likely to come out. If not then perhaps it is simply more expensive or time consuming to offer it to the public.
 
yeah dude you cannucks suck, I already have hella US dudes on board. You may have to get in on the US deal and I'll ship them to you. If you know someone on this side of the border I could ship them there for cheaper and you wouldn't have to pay customs twice.

Haha no way I just got new salomon guns last year. Not nearly as good as KW, but I'll save up my money for the KW skis when I grow out of my salomons.
 
taylor, dude i'm sooooo sking those this year (can i jib 'em). i might be in on next years or late season group buy when my JP's are toast. are you demoing from the store, your garage or on the mtn.?
 
I'll be demoing them on the hill at Alpine or wherever I can get in free.

Good luck making the Jps last till spring. My guess is you'll need something new come March when we start getting dumped on.
