Happened a few days ago. RIP to Von, I thought he was next up.

basically he got into a fistfight with Quando Rondo and one of Rondo’s associates popped out from behind a car and shot him blindside. Nothing any one of Von’s people could’ve done. Two of Von’s close friends were killed by off duty cops in the ensuing 3 way shootout between Rondo’s crew, Von’s crew, and the cops.

Lots of rumors going around which are probably mostly bullshit, here’s the full length interview of his manager.

This one hit me a little harder than usual, probably because Von was trying to leave his old life behind, he had kids, he took care of his people and he was on the way to really making it big. They say live by the gun die by the gun but this shit is senseless sometimes.

Its tragic, but also what happens when you kill 5+ people. There was a large target on his back. King von was a gangbanger who rapped, not the other way around.

It would be one thing if his opps caught up with him but his and Quando rondos beef was recent, I think Lil Tim was just sleeping in the car, woke up and saw Von putting a beatdown on rondo and shot him, spur of the moment type shit. I don’t think it was getback for anyone Von killed

I definitely get what you’re saying though, what goes around comes around eventually
 
I heard someone broke into the morgue and took a video of his body and posted it online, people do some fucked up shit for a little bit of fame I guess

rip, this is super sad but considering how many hits have been connected back to him in one way or another I wasn't too surprised.
 
Who fucking cares about some dumb piece of shit gangbangers killing each other? Making art doesn't absolve you of your past wrongdoings. Plus, his music was just some unoriginal garbage that is only differentiated from the thousands of other artists churning out the same auditory sludge by the fact that he yells his own name at the beginning of his songs. Society will not suffer from this loss in any way. Stop glorifying shitty people because you think they're cool.

Just listened to some of his music for the first time, he has some good songs. I honestly had never heard of him before so not super sad of his passing.

I really don't understand all the people shitting on him. Idk what his deal was criminally, but it is kind of a low blow to say he got what he deserved and no one cares. He does have fans of his music, and they don't have to love him as a person. I'm not saying that what he did was okay tho.

He will probably get a bunch of more fans now that he died and that's fucked up.

True product of his environment. He saw his friends shot dead in front of him at a young age. Then took up that life to get revenge. His story is really fucked up. You can find some documentaries on YouTube about that sort of thing. Like docudrama or chicagoscene88. That shit goes way deeper than post people think. It’s a literal war out there
