Basically this movie kicked the shit out of me. It was just intense and epic and long. Yet it was very good.

I really enjoyed it...very well done...and the scene where Kong was fighting all the T-Rex's was ridiculous..very entertaining.

Oh man. This movie by FAR exceeded my expectations. Simply unbelievable. Those natives, holy SHIT. I don't think anything has freaked me out more in a movie then those fucking things. Besides being packed with action, I loved the way the whole sub plot played out with Kong falling in love with the girl and then you get a new point of view showing how the greedy fuckn humans are the real vicious asshole animals. I love it. They did such a good job with such a classic story. Go watch it guys.

actually in the old king kong he also has a sick fight with a t-rex, he then won by breaking its neck. pretty sick for stop motion

Saw it opening night...

Let me say...Kong biting out a dinosaurs tongue, spitting it out, and the proceeding to rip the dinosaurs jaws apart until his head basically rips apart...Epic. So sick.

if it wasnt for the fuckin bug scene...

im sorry but watching the dudes head get swallowed by a tubeworm with teeth was just creepy and not entertaining.

everything else was dope though, im glad it was long because every action sequence was dope and those are what they usually cut.

definately one of my favorite movies. so funny when all the brontosaurus'(sp?), think that's what they're called, all trip over each other into a huge pile. i was so pissed at the military.

I found it sort of corny. Jack Black was hard to take serious, and the fact that they somehow transported Kong across the ocean in that little boat was rediculous. But the fight between the t-rex's and Kong made the movie worth watching.

I think Jack Black's character fit him pretty well, just kind of this crazy film maker. I also think that it was exactly as long as it needed to be. For those that haven't seen the original they follow it REALLY well.

..really strange when i noticed, that in almost every scene naomi watts has got an open mouth!!

.. Hmm, i wish i could have a buddy like king kong,.. sitting on his shoulder while walkin through the jungle of dinos ,haha, cool character..

Ive been hearing this complaint a lot and yes i agree its tough to grasp, but please, so was the rest of the movie. Futhermore, the movie was long enough, did you really want to see them loading kong into the boat, tying him down, further sedating him, and sailing back to new york?

And yeah it was hard to take Jack Black seriously, I agree. But it wasnt any fault in his acting, it was because you and I expected to see him in a comedic role, which we're used to. He still did a good job

The bug part was horrible. When naomi was hiding in the log and the two huge centipedes were crawling on her, gives me the creeps. That one guy was trying to escape and climb up the rocks but the worm shot out of the hole and took him in.

I think Jack Black wasn't really suited for that role. He's a good actor but I think someone else would have been better for that role.

I agree I wouldn't want the movie longer to watch how they impossibly hauled Kong on a boat where there wasn't even living quarters for all their human passengers, let alone a giant ape. What did they strap him to the roof? Or drag him through the water?

And how did they manage to run inbetween those big long necked dinosaurs? All the while fighting off the predators trying to eat them.

And again, the women (sorry I don't remember names) should have had shaken baby syndrome the way she was thrashed by Kong after he ran through the jungle with her in his hand. Not to mention the dislocated shoulders she would have from when he broke the ropes during the sacrifice.

I think the movie would have been much better if some of these things had been more realistic, however I still enjoyed the movie. Its just not one I would buy.

^i wish people like you never even saw the movie. if you don't appreciate it for what it is then go to hell. The movie was awesome, if you can't get over some beliveability factors then maybee documentarys are more your speed.

it's a movie about a giant ape who falls in love with a human female and then falls off the top of the empire state building while planes shoot at him. how realistic of a movie were you hoping for?

So what, if I have an opinion about a movie other than that I appreciate it, I should go to hell? If you would have read my last two posts, you would know that I LIKED the movie. I felt those above mentioned points could have been changed to make the movie better, but regardless I still enjoyed it. And if you can't deal with that fact, you too can go to hell

i found it pretty good but i found the intro was very long untill there was acually king kong but i guess they have to have it long.but a good mmovie

Im sorry but i really didnt like it at all. The whole time i was just wondering when it was gonna end. It'd be alright if it was like half the length and they cut out all the filler, but they just made it so so long.

probably the most intense thing i've ever seen. that scene with the bugs will haunt my dreams forever
