All I know is they may open this sat & sun with natural snow. Lift ops have been notified for possible opening.

They arent gonna open this week, because it is gonna be warmer for highs later on this week. Here aorund 55 for a high, so i would say that at killy should be 47 for the highs.

not saying there opening just letting you know theyve notified the operators of a possible opening this weekend, w/c means theyre at least considering it.

i bet u they will not open this weekend...they have really had a freeze since they havent really used their guns. theyve only got natural snow and a good amount but not like enough i think...but it would be fuckin sick if they opened their lifts

no there isntt so dont go up i called them and they said they wont have anything set up till at least the 3 week

I dont think the grounds frozen yet, making all new natural snow melt slowly. they would need a lot more than is predicted

yea its supposed to wram up again but if they had a 2 ft bas and tehn gromed it down it might be enough, i doubt it thou

the ground is definatly frozen on the upper parts of the mountiain and there gona get dumped on again tonight but dont count on them opining early cause there cheap

basiclly they prob wont open this weekend but when theY do they will have a few rails theY always do

so if kili does open up on Nov 11th.. tick prices? i've never skiied kili early season... is it still like a 50$ ticket? or like 25?

why doesnt killy open as early as they used to. On their site they have their season histories written in some chart, and prior to 2003 they were open on liek october 1st or october 11 like every year and open until june as well, what happened to that deal?

I still think they might open this saturday. I guess we'll see. direct email from killington.

Wow, what a difference a few days make! Since

Sunday morning we have received 29 inches of

snow. The latest storm dumped 19 inches on us and

it looks like some colder temperatures may move

into the region for the next few nights, allowing

us the opportunity to fire up the world's largest

snowmaking system.

The Big Question?

When will Killington Open? As soon as we have a

quality top-to-bottom skiing product we'll crank

up the K-1 Gondola and kick off the 2005-06 ski

and snowboard season."

that email is just to get you excited, i talked to kids who work at killy on park and who run cats, he laughed and said no way will it open this weekend, prob not untill the 11th.

hehe- this is just funny!! Yeah, like oh my god! Killington is gonna open this weekend!!! HEHEHEHH NOT! Are you joking! the mountain hasn't opneed in october since i was 10! But nice try.....

well we shall see folks..i'd be willing to put some money on the fact that killington will be open for skiing this weekend..anyone up for a friendly wager?
