We've had a pretty warm October. Snowmaking will begin i assume friday evening with Killington probably opening November 9th at the earliest.

honestly, that is most years in recent history. Some east coast mountains with small budgets dont even open until january.

Snow-forecast.com I find it’s more accurate out west and in Europe but is a decent gauge for us ice coasters. There’s also a Facebook group called Northeast Skiology that has amazing forecasts for just the East.

The itch is definitely happening. I’m able to go midweek so I’ll patiently wait to avoid the typical opening weekend crowd.

but yes, this is typical Killington giving no updates. All they need is two nights of snowmaking, although always anticipated opening day has always been an almost spur of the moment surprise

Unfortunately i don’t think they will open this week, i’d love to be wrong tho. Next thursday thru weekend has some nice low temps even into the teens. Some site says estimated for the 16th. I’d say next weekend or midweek after

you're on their website but cant read their conditions report? it says right on there they have 10 features and 1 jump. Just rebuilt today because they got 6"
