Killington this weekend?

I think I heard somewhere they might be opening next weekend (the weekend of the 30th), but that does really depend on the weather, and I could be completely wrong.
 
i dont think they will open that early. i hiked yesterday and it started raining when i was up there.

Its been pretty warm as well
 
Not opening this weekend. Snowmaking is underway currently, but they are focusing on producing snow that will last the dreaded indian summer of this upcoming week.

Current forecast is looking rough for the upcoming week, so I wouldn't expect next weekend either. We'll be flirting 60 degrees at upper elevations with rain showers. Nothing worse than warm rain for a snowpack.

Sorry guys, but mother nature is being a cunt and ruining the chances of skiing lift accessed in October in the Northeast.

They WERE going to open on Sunday....but this next week is going to be in the upper 50s and raining...Fuck that.
 
Well slap me silly. Sunday River came completely out of nowhere with that.

It's going to be super sketch and thin but man that takes some serious balls and dedication from Sunday River. Way larger sack-factor than K, that's for sure.
