No you missed the point of it, they want to stay where they are but secede into newhampshire. So they will stay where they are but will be considered part of New Hampshire. It will be wicked funny if on a map they will have a little dot in the middle of Vermont that is New Hampshire

i can tell you from first hand experience the taxing of second homes is extremely unfair because there is no representation or benefit for the payees. But i doubt it will ever happen.

even if it were to happen, it would take years and lots of money from killy...a thing it doesnt have..it would also need a vote from the town and state...i highly highly doubt this is possible

killington whining about taxes. how about the price of a lift ticket up there? if they cant pay the taxes with their prices screw them! only go there when you have to late/early season. go to a real mtn like mad river jay or magic if you dont want to get screwed over
