Hey, unfortunately killington has decided to focus entirely on grooming and preparing for the bear mtn mogul challenge, and the park has suffered greatly because of the weather. Killington has closed rams head, bear mtn on weekdays, Pico mtn, and is in the process of closing the park, and only keeping the Superstar Chair and that area of the mtn
why are they closing things early? not because of lack of snow, but because killington blows, their trying to save money
screw killington, the biggest resort on the east, and their park is one of the smallest. Its really pathetic, alot of locals are pissed, as well as show owners (i work at freds freeride), next year were gonna do an event at either Mt Snow or Stratton in mid season, with alot bigger prizes (skis, other swag, some cash).
Hope to see you all out at itt
gwyne is gonna hit in september. were doing our final shoot this weekend in tremblant, and out at Mt Hood in June. Im gonna post a trailer soon
and to ANYONE who rides killintgon, stay OFF THE SUPERSTAR chair, the cable is fraying, and the lift maintmance crew refuses to ride it, its a big safety concern, but killington says its 'acceptable'...just giving everyone a heads up on what i heard from the head of lift maintmance
