oh good story. About a week ago im in line to go up our parks poma lift, this 6 year old and his dad are standing infront of me and have 20+ feet infront of them and wont budge. so i just skate around them and cut infront. the guy goes "HEY BUDDY, where do you think you're going" i say "apparently where you wont go buddy " the guy looks at me and sais " get in the back of the line NOW " i look at him, laugh a bit and then say " sir, are you planning to bring your kid into the park, ski extremly slowly onto all the knolls, and cheer while your kid goes halfway up the jump and slides back down? then go behind him and support him while you ski down the landing cutting back and fourth just asking to get landed on by someone who can actually ski park?"
then i say "sir our mountain supplies you with a mini park so you can learn to actually ski park a bit before you come in here make a fool of yourself and get in the way, so please go there and once you can slide every one of there rails and clear every one of there jumps, you are more than welcome here." the guy looks at me. and then just stands there. he proceeds to get on the lift as we watch his son fall of 3 or 4 times. they finally manage to get to the top of the park and do EXACTLY what i said they would. i proceeded hit the 40 footer his son had just slid down spin a quite nice 5. yes i felt good about it. i got to the bottom and a bunch of snowboarders came up to me and one of them hugged me. i felt like i had made our park a safer and more park rider friendly place. the end.
