anybody else ever have one? i've got one right now and let me tell you it sucks. for everyone that's had one, i'm sorry.

kidney stones are little rocks that you have to pass through either your PENIS! or VAGINA! (im so immature) and the reason why you have to pass them is when mineral deposits form in your kidneys, they need to come out because they are unhealthy to your body. so you need to pass them, (which all happens on its own) but you need to piss in a filter everytime you piss to catch them. then when they are passed, you bring them to a lab and they do testing to see if you have a disease or something. and man, im sorry, cause that sucks. ive never had them before.

ya i had one. brought me to my fuckin knees. i had to go to the hospital and get put on an iv of morhine. luckly it broke up once it reached my bladder after a few days. it was deff. the most painful thing i have ever had happen to me and ive broken my nose, shattered my hand and blown out both knees and a buncha other stuff and nothing came remotly close to kidney stones.

 
i had a hernia, those suck ass hole, but yeah ive heard that kidney stones suck, im sorry man.

when my dad had kidney stones it was funny. youd hear yelling and the next second hed start to punch a wall. luckily, ive never had them.

I had appendicitis and that fucking hurt (probably not as much as kidney stones though, I've heard they're pretty rough) My tummy hurt so much, and I didn't know what it was so I didn't go to the hospital until a couple days later. But it was all good once they took it out.

Is there any way to avoid kidney stones (like not eating cetain things), or is it just random?

yeah i heard they really really suck, i would just drink a shitload of alchohol so i hopefully would pass it quickly and not feel any pain

u can get up a lot of differnent ways. theres no real way to avoid them, it mostly depends on how ur body processes minerals like calcium and stuff u get in daily vitamins.

 
i think i may be developing kidney stones and i just got legitimately scared after reading this thread.

i kno its old but im bumping it anyway.

my friends said that low protein consumption may be an added risk...has anyone heard this?

 
if a low protein diet was an added risk, he shouldn't go vegetarian. he should eat more meat.
 
this is what i think the problem may be.

i have been a vegetarian for almost two years now.

i have never had a problem before but i started college in january and my diet has changed quite a bit because of the food plan (sounds like one of the symptoms according to webMD).
 
my dad had one removed last week. it was a hugee one, they had to go up his dick with some thing, blast it apart, and pull it out piece by piece. he had a tube going up his dick into his kidney for a few days.
