you realize that outside of newschoolers.com no one really knows what 4bi9 is? Hell there are a ton of people on here that don't know what it means or is, including some (I won't mention them) that are held very highly.
 
i cared, sammy hurst cared, everybody at the premier cared, 4bi9 cared (obviously), a lot of kids who coulda won a free pair of skis cared, so yes thats a lot of fucking people that care!

And to people hating on this thread, don't. If you ski park, and show up at a 4bi9 movie premier, know your shit. Actually, thats not even knowing your shit! thats common knowledge!! Even my friends that aren't into skiing THAT much know what 4bi9 stands for!!

Seriously? What are they, the skiing mafia or something, only the chosen few with inside knowledge and secret handshakes should ever go see their movies?

I've been skiing park since before we allowed to ski parks, worked in parks, for park ski camps, park competitions, and park filmmakers etc. and I have no idea what it stands for. But it's "common knowledge" hey?

Get out of your little bubble for a change and try being stoked that people want to see a ski movie (without researching details about the production company first). If they like the movie, then maybe they will become a big fan and go find out pointless details like that, and then you can have some more bros in your coolguy club.
 
...it is common knowledge. Don't be sour and generalize about everybody else just because you ski a lot and still don't know what it means. You don't have to "research pointless details" to know... when 4bi9 started out it was on everybody's lips, I didn't even find out what it stood for from ns. Also, I like my bubble, it has the feel of a community, and i am also stoked on people watching ski movies. I bought a V.I.P pass to IF3 and made two of my friends do the same (claim). Anyway, all this has gotten too serious for my taste.
