Kicking Horse is like 2-3 1/2 hours away from calgary..its suppost to be pretty good right now

Its really good here right now! We just had a bunch of snow and there are no line-ups anywhere. Life is good.

norquay is actually really really good right now. it is really nice place lots of rails jumps ect. kicking horse got rained on and has not very much snow, and it is icy.

 
^ Youre a joke buddy! I can't believe you are trying to compare the 2 hills. Its true we got rained on, but that was a week and a half ago when everyone else was getting rained on too! Norquay...thats some good material!

Your just jealous kicking horse blows and norquay rules. I could lap north american all day. Then hit up a peerrrrfeect park. You just need to leave rainy golden and hit up the best skiing in the world at norquay.

 
ryerson has no idea what hes missing. the hidden gem of norquay by far has north America best hieen lines and a park that rivals mammoth. Dude what does golden have a couple green runs and a resturant. totally not worth it.

norquay isn't a hidden gem at all. it's really icy and only has one chalenging run, which is covered in ice.

spinners quit being an asscork and open your eyes to the majesty of mount Norquay. Can't you see the amount of great terrain that is lift accessible,not to mention the lack of crowds and the most scenic views in north america?

I will defend the great mount norquay until i die.

I can't tell what is sarcasm, and who is serious.kicking horse is the best place I've ever skied, and norquay is just another park with some groomers basically. I can't beleive this conversation went on this long.

Yo, a whole crew of us are going to be Kicking Horse from Monday to Friday this week for reading days. If anybody else is riding there come say hi. I'll be sporting an orange/white/grey Orage jacket, K2 skis, black Bad Lt. w/red Smith Anthem goggle. My buddy has a lime green custom-painted Giro Flint, hard to miss. If anybody else is gonna be up there, post here so we can look out for each other!

i was talking to a buddy who is up there this week and he saw acouple skier goin off like cork 7s and shit on some jumps off of the highest chair there, said it looked pretty tight

Yeah, that was probably us, though they were rodeos and flairs. KH is totally skied out right now, even two bowls over from the OB line. We even went sled skiing and had a hard time finding decent snow! Ullr, we need snow!

I'm with Jay on this one,the need snow! If you go to superbowl there's some decent kickers, but you'll have a 20 minute hike up the ridge first

 
It snowed for 5 minutes last night and they are calling for another 5 minutes of snow in the next couple of days. It don't get no better than this.

sled skiing? you mean out on snowmachines? who took you?

me and my crew were out there the other week and Mike P from snowpeakrentals.com took us out to gorman and silent pass and we found lots of nice freshies. it was sick.

 
I can't remember hwat it was called, but it was the riding area towards Roger's pass, about 20mins down the highway. it was pretty ridden out. And we didn't have a guide, we went by ourselves, although I did manage a few runs in some deep stuff.
