KH highlights

Hey guys, I've been to KH once before and have found some good spots but I'd really like to know where the goods are. I'm coming up this weekend from calgs and want to show my dad, who's never been there, a good time. Any suggestions? BTW, my dad can rip.

KH is going to get dumped on in the next week. Go check out lower Fuez Bowl (saddle sore, bareback). Also climb up Terminator Ridge and drop into Super Bowl.

hey, whats the best way to get to saddlesore....skirt around on the other side of the ridge and then hop up and over? Also if i want to get to the runs on the far skiers left of feuz bowl. Do you traverse along the backside or hike up and ski over along the ridge?

It's all accessible from the traverse on Redemption ridge. Just head up the chair. And I don't even know if Whitewall is open.

hey rudager hows the conditions out there mid-late march? gonna be swingin through there for a few days and have shredded there before but during january so im kinda curious how the snow is in march.. lemme know what to expect homes!

Mid-late March is usually pretty fun. Everything is filled in to say the least.

Honestly, it depends on the weather for March this year. We've had times where it dumps, or times where it's a drought.

I can also say spring skiing at Kicking Horse is the funnest.

Thats awesome I just needed some reassurance cause our season in the east (at least where I am) is sucking big time and it can be hard to feel faithful in the conditions. I figured snow or no snow it would be legit though.

Thanks for the heads up! Ill let you know when I'm gonna be there maybe we could smoke a little cheeba and shred it up?

No problem.

I talked to my folks today, they said that there was plenty of new snow this past week and that it's pretty good right now.

Give me a shout when you come out, I don't live in Golden any more, but I still try to make it out there as much as possible. My folks live there, so it's not impossible for me to ski there.
