Keystones jumps.

I hate to ask this question, but will Keystone steepen their landings on the medium line? They were really nice before Christmas, but now they are painfully flat.... at least to me. The big line is super sick though, but I enjoy warming up and learning things on smaller jumps.
In past seasons have they steepened the landings or do they just let them flatten out and focus on the bigger jumps and other features? Anyone who can give some input or predictions? I would appreciate it!!

hard to say, they've never been flat before, tho they seem the same as they've been most of the year to me. maybe they're more lippy now so the impact seems greater? i'd skip the first jump and just go into 2 and 3, 1 is just too flat to be fixed.

yea, I've always known the landings there as being really smooth and steep, but if you are popping on your spins, the impact is pretty bad. They either need a solid winching or some wu taken off in my opinion.

i sure hope they do something about them. im the same way as you. i like to hit the medium then go to the large. ive been going to breck to solve that.

+1 I hope keystone reads this.

I always wanna hit jumps but whenever i hit the medium line its no fun so i end up hitting the bigs and just doing 3's and stuff. The shittyness of the medium line is stunting my jump progression.

like the man b-rent has specified,, go to breck. Keystone is always a hit or miss shitshow and stuff is never consistant. Breck is the opposite of this. Sorry if I have some favoritism..... :P

I remember the jumps feeling extremely different around March last year. The entire season they had been floaty and nice, and then one day they were flat with no air time. They have been flat all season since day 1. Super gay, they should be embarrassed. It's like skiing in Ohio on those things. I have to go so fast just to hit a softer landing that I feel awkward off the takeoff. The big 3 jumps are the only nice features in that whole park, and even those are lame compared to Freeway. I asked one of their park crew about it and he said basically said I had no idea what a jump should feel like because Transworld snowboarding rated Keystone as such an awesome park. WTF?

Breck's park is awesome right now and every year, my only gripe is of all the wasted space above Freeway's big line (flat down box/rail please :) The park crew is dedicated and meticulously takes care of their features throughout the day. Fuck Keystone in all facets from their mountain safety to their park.

^apparently you havent hit all the features at key. the features below the big line are huge and really fun, the step up to step down thing, the hip and the step up jump even though its a little sketchy. A variety of tricks can be thrown on them, i think its probably the best park key has ever had, at least the big line and the features below it.

well this is depressing.... keystone, in my opinion, is much less of a shit show in terms of crowds and transportation/ logistics.
Are there any mediums of communication around here to voice concerns/suggestions for park? Or would they just disregard those suggestions anyway.....
One night of winching would do wonders to that jump line.

^Yea its kind of like last year when they changed they jumps in march to a shit show of injurys that occured on them. No one would hit them because so many people injured themselves on them.

I like that keystone has all sorts of different jumps this year, with med sized step downs, a step up, a step-over. i think the overall jump situation is the best ive seen. the med line does feel really high impact this year though.
