Keystone VS Breckenridge......... Breck wins

Living in colorado i feel like all day i hear about the breck vs keystone argument. I would just like to say once and for all breck is so far superior to keystone, and it amazes me that so many people ski key on the daily. Any thoughts?
 
Does it really matter? You buy a pass that works at both resorts and vail for 300 dollars...
 
I liked Breck's tables waaaaaay more.

As far as all the other features, I'd say I liked them about the same.

But keystone has the exclusive lift, which kills Breck's lift system.

they're both sick.
 
personally i like keystone better, but im also not as good as you. i like that medium jumpset next to the big ones and it flows through those next rails, spine, jumps nicely for me at least.

I also have only riden breck 3 times this winter and I had no problem with it. I just like the quick laps I can do at key.
 
Agreed here...Breck's jumps are dope for sure. However, Breck is filled with so many Chad's and Joey's. Keystone's got the park lift which is extremely convenient. You get to see everyone throwing down and work on your goggle tan all day. Big line is real fun as well. They are both equally comparable and I don't think anyone should be upset if they are at Breck rather than Keystone and vice versa.
 
my vote goes to keystone. sick jumps, sick rails, smaller lift lines....my only gripe is sometimes the rail placement doesnt make sense (that upbox at the beginning of the pocket park, cutting across features to get to other rails)

breck...freeway id deff very very very legit, parklane on the other hand....i find myself constantly overshooting their shit, they have down rails/boxes and dfd's with tall gap on lips, why not urban?? and yeah, the whole lift situation at breck sucks...

dont forget about the bastard step-brother park, copper. people in summit write it off cause they are spoiled with key and breck, but shits super fun right now, still one of the best parks in the country, and woodward is opening in two weeks, PM me for info on that shit
 
ok this thread is excessively retarded. I like keystone over breck in most aspects, breck does have better jumps though.
Both are great resorts, keystone has a great lift compared to breck's hell of a mess.
Both have chill vibes but i think keystone is better but hell only my opinion
Overall personal preference is the difference, so im sorry but i do not care at all about your opinion as an attempt at an official ruling

 
i couldnt agree less. its soooooo windy at breck, shit gets blown off and so hard so fast, keystone is always sunny and 40 so shits soft and fast and perfect
 
Mr. martini, i disagree with your statement. brecks lift system is far less superior to keystone making getting shit done most difficult when a lap takes 20+ minutes.
 
Ummmm, no. Not so windy in the trees by the park bro. And I don't think Keystone has a little magical bubble that keeps it 40 all the time. If so I would like to purchase one for myself.
 
very very true. keystone is great but i feel like the only good stuff to ride at keystone is the park. for all mountain riding and park options breck is my choice. but i do love keystone's park and awesome lap-capabilities.
both are great, just depends on what you feel like doing that particular day
 
I cant say ive really had more decent days at breck than ive had at key. Keystone is way less windy and the weather is usually a little warmer. The park is so compact and can be lapped many times. Breck only has the high speed which takes at least 20 minutes if not more per lap

here's how it goes, Breck takes it in jump flow and also in pipe (obviously) but keystone has better rails and creative features plus a park lift
 
Not being from Colorado......

I like Keystone better for one reason only. Its always windy when I go to Breck. Both have comparable parks with +/-.
 
have to say i like the vibes at key a little better then breck. and breck is wind more often. but key has been a little off on the big set this year. freeway is is absolutely money. if the weather is prime, breck for sure!
