Keystone V.S. Breck

once I graduate for high school I plan on moving out to Colorado. I was wondering which resort is better for Park from POV they both seen great! But which one is better?

I'd choose Keystone over Breck. They're both cool, but Keith Stone has the benefit of night skiing and a pristine park.

The answer is... it doesn't matter. they are right next to each other and owned by the same company. You can ride both parks in the same day with the same pass if you wanted to.

like the other guy above me said it's basically the same thing considering they're right next to each other and they're both owned by vail. thus you can buy a pass for both and hit them both in the same day.

oh haha i was unaware that you could go on both mts in the same day. +k thx guys that really cleared it up.

If you are looking for big ass dew tour sized jumps go to Breck. Key has a banger ass rail setup right now as well as some pretty money jumps.

definitely try A Basin also

I once went to A Basin in the morning for pow, went to Breck in the afternoon, and went to Keystone at night.

disregard this comment, i didn't really read the OP. I thought you were coming out on a trip soon. If you are moving out here then just get an epic pass and find out for yourself which one you like more.

you have no idea what you are talking about. You would probably take I-70 to the other mountain. AKA you are a tourist.

I'm not sure exactly how much it cost, but the best time to buy it is in march for the next season. That's when the best price is. It sounds like you are going to want to get the summit value pass which is Keystone, Breck and A Basin. There is no Keystone and Breck pass. A basin is awesome anyways (except for park)

keystone has less lines and free parking with no shuttle. and night skiing. and you can start skiing park at 8:30 if you go to Peru Express, which is bomb for morning hot laps. if you're driving up from Denver, Keystone is also closer, especially if you use the pass.

so... key > breck

if you get a job with vail resorts you also get the full Epic pass (Keystone, Breck, Vail, Abasin, Beaver, Heavenly, Northstar)

its all been said, both are about the same distance (breck is maybe 20 minutes farther) and come on the same pass. if you are thinking about moving to summit county, dillon is pretty much equally between them, or move to one and make occasional trips to the other.

breck seems like it is more of a resort though, with a better night life, and the crowds that come with that, although even last weekend wasnt that bad.

keystone has night skiing and slightly smaller crowds, and an equally sick park, but from the time ive spent there, maybe not as much of a night life

I've only skied Breck, but holy shit was it amazing!! I'm pretty sure most if not all mountains out there are amazing.

last year id go with breck. this year forsure keystone. Solely basing my opinion on the park being on point from preseason till now, the park staff fucking kills it, always adding fun features and keeping it flowy. don't get me wrong breck has an unreal park, but its nowhere near complete right now.

Keystone has an unbelievable preseaon park, and A-51 is the best for park laps once its up.

So basically keystone at this point in time, but once everything is complete in both, id say they are pretty damn equal.
