First of all, i'm REALLY BACK BITCHES. I BEEN IN THE ROCKIES FOR A MINUTE NOW. YALL THOUGHT I WAS GONE FROM THIS BUT NAH.

but, I got a job as a snowmaker (possibly gonna get park crew doe) at keystone. anybody ever worked there? idea as to what to expect?

also. SAY WHATSUP I'M FINALY IN THE SCENE IN THE FLESH FAM.

I might toss in a back up application their and breck for park but probably not trying to live/work there this season. Idk though. I never plan much and generally change my plans for anything from living in the dumpster near your house to being a bartender in Guatemala seems pretty reasonable for me from this far out.

Good luck with that drive as a daily commute.

But yeah, housing is def on the cheap side up there. I saw a 4 br hours for 900 last season.

Im planning on trying to snag a job at Copper most likely, and ill pop for the summit value pass for some day off shred days

That's probably your best bet. Just be prepared for some frustration getting home. Fuck traffic and stupid drivers.

That said cheap living is nice. And if the weathers good that's not a bad drive at all.

Yeah definitely, I'll probably be taking advantage of the lake county connect a fair bit, its a 5 dollar bus ride each way copper-leadville, you can also get a 20 punch pass for like $60 I think.

I'd love to live in summit again, but the rent right now is simply absurd

Word. I took the eagle county busses for a couple months last year when my car was derping out. Def sick that they have the bus systems. Almost took it up to leadville to visit friends but waited for my wheels to get rolling again.

If you work at copper maybe you can get a deal. Through at VR I could get a subsidized monthly bus pass. Even if it wasn't I think it was around 100 which really isn't that bad for the distance I was going. I paid 40 for it though. And if you're riding every day that was 40 a month instead of $4 each way everyday so it paid for itself in one week.
