Keystone opening

yeah and breck will open a week later. Most likely with park lane again. Rumor has it that there will be a longer-Park Lane- Like park on Peak 9 once the season gets going.

Sick! I heard that breck is going to have like 2-3 more jumps in freeway this year, also, I heard that the pipe will be at the top

Copper opens the 5th as well. 22" pipe will be ready by Thanksgiving again. I bet guns will be going for most places anywhere in the next week or 2.

Yes CANNOT wait to go Slay some early season rails in a tallllll tee and a hoodie. I think i am goin to die if i dont go skiing sooon. I hope to catch the first winter chair in USA at abasin yesssssss.

pipe is moving to the top, they are currently doing the dirtwwork for it. also im pretty sure its gonna be a 22 foot pipe now as well.

Are they really? I know at Copper we can't do dirt work for the pipe because its leased land... Breck is leased too, I hadn't heard of anything about them getting around it yet. I also HEARD that Breck wasn't going to be 22? But I couldn't imagine them being the only 18 on Dew Tour. Gotta love how the gossip flies here.

I just moved to the area around october of last year and I seem to like Breck much better than Copper because of rumors like this that sometimes turn out to be facts.

^ true or not, I'll contribute to to hype.

A little Breck park revamp this season would be siiick

what?

how is brecks pipe getting smaller a good thing?

and coppers pipe is seriously under the radar. i think its better than brecks most of the time.

Um... I dont even know what to say in response. I guess I'll go with:

Good for you, you stay on that side and I'll stay here (we don't like lift lines here anyway). To each their own. As for the pipe rumors, I know we cannot do dirt work here, for a fact. I don't see how Breck got around the same restriction. If there was a way around, Copper spends more time on that damn pipe then anything else, I feel like they would have fit the bill to do that (it would save the ridic amount of $ spent blowing early). I'm simply pondering this... not saying its not happening.

Ok. Sounds good, I'll stay here and you go there! Copper does have a dope pipe though. I'll take the lift lines and the dopeness of Key/Breck over sticky rails/boxes though. Did you see pics of the dirt work for the new Breck pipe? NS can be pretty reliable if you can filter through all the shit in between.

Just curious... If you just moved here, have you really ever been to Copper? Most people buy the Summit/Colorado/Epic and there for only look at copper on their way to vail on a pow day. I happen have have a ton of friends who slay Breck and Keystone everyday but bought Copper passes this season as well for the rails/boxes. No lines... and shit isn't rutted out by 11am everyday... and cause the rails and boxes are plenty and are in good shape. But lets face it, Coppers jumps don't have shit on Breck...

The liftlines at Keystone are great; they're almost always nonexistent. But the liftlines at Breck are nightmare. How could you possibly put them on the same level?

Last time I was at copper the rails and boxes were all sticky...and your right about the jumps. coppers jumps have no lip what so ever. its pretty much like going off small cliffs

I'd like to contribute to the Breck hype, well, it's not really hype since it is indeed happening and has been in the talks since last Dew Tour; however, this is a Keystone thread and KS is always a blast for preseason shred.
I can start a thread on what's going down for Breck opening day later today-ish if anyone cares.

Oh yeah. Love the fact you can just set up shop in the Keystone's preseason park and just relax - pack a sammich and just hike around for a few and get outta dodge once the sun starts to set.

Abays preseason park is so much fun. Everybody hiking, and you just take lunch in the woods right above the park and watch.

has anybody seen any pictures of opening park building? I remember them posting stuff last year.
