Keystone/Breckenridge, march 2015

me and a few friends want to visit breck or keystone for 1 Month in february or march.

i was wondering if any1 could recomend some cheap appartments for 3-4 people we could stay in.

already searched ns and google but couldnt really find anything cheap..

March is the busiest month of the season. Last year a lot of people had a hard time finding places to live for the season in Breck. Dont know about keystone or frisco area. But finding a place to live for a month in prime time winter season will probably cost you a lot of money. Like a lot of money. You should get that to some extant no matter where your from.
 
one month rental is hard to find.

cheap place is hard to find.

a place to live in high season is hard to find.

finding this place going to require significant effort on your part and a lot of money. if you were asking for a couch to crash on for a few weeks, this would be an OK place to ask - but no one here has room to put you and 3 other people up for a month in primetime season. not trying to be a dick or anything, its just the truth.
 
Look at places in Summit Cove, Dillon, SIlverthorne, or Frisco. The bus system in Summit County, the Summit Stage, is very reliable and can get you everywhere around the county for free. Those places would be cheaper than say Breck to find a place to stay- not sure what they have that's available, but that may be your best bet.
 
It wont be hard to find, lots of kids come through for a month or so at a time. Its a vacation area more than a ski bum area. Look on craigslist or even call keystone booking. If you guys have a decent amount of cash it shouldnt be a problem.

Really tough to say, do you all want your own bed? do you care if you're roughing it?

Depending on how you're trying to live probably anywhere from 1-4k

i'd look on homeaway.com, they do hotel/condo/apartment/studio rentals and they've been good for me for short term rentals (i.e. long weekend)
 
look at renting a chalet at Tiger Run resort if you want to be close to Breck yet affordable. not sure how many people you got, but I think rent on the "standard" chalet is like $1,200 /month. Tiger Run has decent amenities (indoor pool, coin op laundry, etc) and a Summit Stage bus stop across the street. I stayed there (though in an RV) for the month of January with some buddies back in 2009 and it was one of the most fun months of my life!
 
alpine slopes lodge right across from keystone rents out some rooms longer term. i don't know the cost exactly but it's cheaper than a condo or something
