Keystone and Breck Opening the 9th

early season they were better, shows what you know. and country boy stinks early season, you hit two jumps, then wait in a super long lift line.
 
i love breck's jumps when they're fully up and all because they're massive and they have good flow but sometimes keystone's 3 jump line is a ton of fun. it's a bit more relaxed and spread out
 
i cant believe people call breck opening with 2 jumps and a couple of boxes/rails weak...the eastcoast didnt have jumps like breck did when they opened all year.
 
breck's opening day jumps last year were amazing. breck and keystone early season are same as far as lift lines. basically you have to hike jumps at breck or hike rails at keystone. your pick. the choice of these two parks is why i'm leaving the east coast tomorrow and driving back to the big CO.
 
Thanks to more than 2 feet of new snow this month and efficient snowmaking, we're opening a full week earlier than planned. Keystone will open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd.

Terrain & Lifts

The A51 Terrain Park Crew has assembled the largest jibbing area in the country – we've got 20 features ready to hit on the Spring Dipper run.

On the 2nd, we'll have the intermediate trail Spring Dipper open, along with limited beginner terrain in the learning area at the peak of Dercum Mountain. Skiers and riders can access the open runs via the River Run Gondola and / or the Summit Express chairlift. Montezuma Express, a mid-mountain lift, and the Kokomo magic carpet will also be operating.

To return to the base area, skiers and riders must download on the River Run Gondola and / or the Summit Express chairlift.



And don't forget that we're keeping the lifts turning from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 9th! Why drive home after your last run? Stick around for apres, stay here for $109 (per room), and enjoy early turns Saturday morning.
 
Vail resorts are such greedy bastards. My season pass will not work until monday at keystone because it is a dependent pass. Just because I only paid $25 (my mom works for breck) they say I can not ski on opening weekend. Gay shit
 
KEYSTONE OPENS TOMORROW, it was officially announced, so its no longer newschooler rumors. now the question is, what is the set up going to be?
