Keyboard has retardation

So starting today I noticed that when I type something here the place where the text comes out will suddenly randomly jump to a point above and begin typing there instead. Like right in the middle of a word. And in each reply it will jump to the same place over and over.
Anyone know what this is or experience this themselves? Virus? I'm on a mac if that matters.
Or is this an NS glitch maybe?

my thumbs hit my touchpad as i'm typing and sometimes when i'm hitting the shift key i hit the up arrow

Nope definitely the computer. I can leave it without my hands anywhere and it'll pop up to a random spot. Annoying as hell.

I'm having the same problem. Definitely not my computer, I just typed a 7 page research paper with no issue.

Like just on NS? That would be good to know. Keyloggers sound not too good...
