Hey, I'm 95% sure that I'll be "studying" at Okanagan College for the spring semester and I wanna be skiing as much as possible so:

I'm trying to find people who have a car and go skiing regularly..

All the tips about best parks and backcountry highly appreciated too as I'm most likely only gonna afford one seasonpass. Which mountain would be a go?? ..thanks

Are you going to Okanagan College or UBC Okanagan? If you're at Okanagan College then Vernon is closest and you should go to Silverstar. If you're at UBC Okanagan you're closer to Kelowna and you should go to Big White. Either way you should definitely get the dual mountain pass so you can ski them both. It's like $80 more and gets you a season's pass that pays off after 2 days at the other mountain.

Yeah I'm gonna go to Okanagan College. I also just got interested to show up few weeks before my classes start (after seeing the pictures of Silver Star's park). Thanks for info.

Still, if anyone living thereabouts is down with sharing the gas costs, it might not be a bad idea to contact me. peace

There is an OKC campus around the corner from me in Kelowna, if you are heading there then Im sure we can work something out.

so your living in Kelowna ? or Vernon? if you live in Vernon and ski silver star its easy to hitch hick up, just stand on the road across from solo.

I am looking to share rides up to big white aswell. I also am looking for people who would want to head out to revelstoke on occasion for some deep pow days and light back country skiing.

I have all my avy gear and am good to go...... I live right near KGH, carpooling would defintely be a good idea.

bigwhite and then get a bus pass theres a bus that goes to the college i believe but if you dont mind spending a bit more go for the dual mtn pass cause then you can ski silver star and bigwhite and to pay off the other mtns pass you only need to go twice

Hmm. $270 extra doesn't sound too bad since I just realized I missed the early bird offers and season pass is going to cost millions anyway. Does the bus operate everyday, Silver and Big?
