Slates futher proves his dominace as the best surfer in the world by winning his 7th world title, beating andy in brazil..

sick stuffthey both got beat in the QF but slater was ripping earlier in the ronds doing shit like b/s no grab 540's and amazin snaps making the 3 to 5 foot swell into his own little surf skate park. hola
 
Kelly is one of the only pro surfers I know who successfully went from oldschool surfing to newschool and who still wins.
 
man if i was into surfing instead of skiing it would be so much sweeter, sunny days on the beach, girls in bikinis. Not this negative temp with strong winds, fat chicks with puffy jackets, snow up your ass bullshit.
 
Wow that's crazy. I didn't think anyone would take down Andy Irons he's been on such a role with 2 or 3 titles.
 
not really crazy. its kelly were talking about here. if superman surfed kelly could still beat him. kelly did give alot of praise to andy saying he is one of the greatest surfers of all time. Kelly also said that because andy is so good, this WCT title and year has been the most epic ever. thats fairly good praise to andy. only a few short years ago, those two only bashed eachother when they had interviews. i guess the rivalery has matured.

did anyone see the tow in session at the globe fiji wct stop this year. andy and kelly just killed it. the barrels were fucken huge. theres a pic of kelly somewhere standing in this pit and its easily double overhead before the ceiling of the barrel even comes into play. the thing is fucken huge.

pre thruster??? are you guys dum , simon Anderson invented the thruster in the 80's, slater is part of the new school. Taj is the best though aussies are the best surfers on the planet. but the dudes from hawaii are best in big surf .
 
50 degree water is pretty chilly, girls do look good in wetsuits though. And the first couple of months I spend at School in malibu there are definetly girls surfing in bikini's. Don't worry, skiing is better, but doing both in one day is pretty fun.

Oh, and slater is a freak, constantly impressed. There's some good videos on surfline's 20 bomb's list.
 
Aussiepimp, I am very unimpressed with the Australian world title race. it seems like they try and try and try but never get there. they have the talent. Taj will never win a world title. Parko has a good chance and so does Mick. If you look who the Australians is up against for world title races further down the road, theres Bruce, Dane Reynolds, Chris Ward, Fred Patachia, Adrian De Souza etc. Clay Marzro wrecks any aussie grom out there. Its gonna be a tough go for you aussies.
