the ski shop i work at just opened a new location in what used to be a restuarant. the restaurant left an untapped keg of heini behind, probably about 2 years old. no one there is dtf to drink it so they said i could have it. will i die? thx +kay

Obvious procedure:
1) Sniff test2) Tiny sip3) ????
If it smells fine, taste it. It might taste pretty bad but I don't think it will be bad for you. Maybe drink a bit and see if you die or not

i dont want to tap it if its bad. id rather sell it to some retard highschooler trying to have a party.

you won't die, its just gonna taste a bit off and maybe not be as carbonated but I'm no beer expert so...yeah.I'd still try it.

definitely keep it out back for when it gets slow in the shop, but its most likely gone stale. not bad for your health, but bad for your taste buds

beers from big breweries have a shelf life of about 8 to 12 months if refrigerated and about 4 to 6 months if kept at room temperature.... i think.

But beer only really expires when you drink it so crack it open man and pour a little out for the griz so we can change this rain to snow..

beer, wine and liquors all work off of different fermentation processes. im not sure the exact chemistry behind it all, but know that beers only get worse with age, especially if not refrigerated. the younger it is when you drink it the better it will taste.

as if heini wasn't skunky enough as it is....2 year old heini is going to be fucking skunked to all hell and taste like absolute dog shit. you can probably still drink it though without any worries as long as it has been sealed.

Its only gonna have a higher alcohol percentage and taste even better. You got yourself a mighty fine Tuesday night on your hands.

Serious side-

1)Drain the beer and go to a beer store and return the keg
2)profit3)buy beers
4)Drink said beers
5)?????????
6) DOUBLE PROFIT ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE THREAD!!!

Beer is like food so if it isnt bottle/keg conditioned (sort of like wine) it will go bad. I think hein has a shelf live of like 3 months. you may get a little sick but i dont think you'll die. I wouldn't recommend it haha
