Keep Ski Pants out of Bindings

Anybody make a clip for the back of your boot, or something? I'm looking for an accessory that will keep my baggy ass pants out of my bindings and away from my boot sole when I walk.

If you've got a link plz share it. Thanks.

I have a pair of TNF pants where the back is like tapered up a bit so it’s not as

long as the rest of the pant. Probably be super simple for a tailor to do that on any ski pant

How are your sewing skills? My uniform from lake has a little bungee and spring in the side cargo pockets that attaches to the back of the hem roughly where the bindings are.

I could upload pictures of it if you want to copy it

I pull up my pants a little when I clip in, nothing I can do about it walking tho. Usually fold up my pants until I’m actually skiing.

Thank you for your useless comment.

Thank you for your useless thread. When snapping in, just pull up your pants so they don't get caught. When walking, just roll them up. Literally takes 5 seconds.

Yeah yeah that actually sounds good can you upload a pic?

For everyone else, I don't remember asking for advice on how I should roll up my pants like it's my first time ever skiing. Fucking clowns.

You should just roll up your pants, like it's your first time.

Did you add that, or did the pants originally come with them?

They came with it, itd be pretty tough to do it yourself as well. Not impossible tho

Are these a new pant or an older one? I’d probably buy a pair right now just for the pant leg pull string shit

Idk if you could even buy these. There is no labeling whatsoever. I got them in 2018 as a uniform

Just pull them up when you step into your binding and roll them up when you walk. Don't know why nobody suggested that or even how OP couldn't figure that out on his own, friggen dummy.

Because you're a fucking dipshit assuming I dont already do both. Absolutely braindead. Pants have a tendency to get pinched in there mid ski, occasionally. You know it's true but you're just a dipshit.

Thanks to the homie suggesting that pant bungie mod. I'm gonna graft these bad boys onto the back of my boots:

I don't think you understand what I'm telling you. First, before you step into your binding, grab your pant leg, I usually grab right above the knee, but you can grab anywhere. Get a good grip wherever you chose to grab and then pull up. When your pant leg is well clear of your heel step into the binding. You are safe to let go when your boot is secured in the binding. Repeat with other leg. After you do this a few times it'll become second nature and you won't even have to think about it. Good luck bud and have fun!

Made yourself laugh hard enough to upvote your own post? Low ass iq humor walmart "im with stupid' t-shirt wearing ass. Go ski PA at 1mph with a blue surgical mask. Retard.

1. Out down skis

2. as you are pressing into them, lift your outer layer up

3. Press down and let loose of layer

4. Done

10/10 foot shape bro

I was searching for the foot fetish thread but just found this, any help?

p.s. I would hem pants that are too long. I like a nice break but if it gets in the way its too much.

If you have pivots your heel moves around so much when you ski that sometimes the pants can get caught while you're skiing. When I started using pivots my pants kept getting caught and I couldn't figure out why cause they weren't when I stepped in

Feel like I’m taking crazy pills. I haven’t stepped into a binding without hiking up my pant legs in over a decade…and you either lean into the frayed back or you roll em.

Ole boy looking for a whole ass bill nye solution to a non problem lol

Ding ding ding. Everyone else you’re retarded.

Nordica made the feature I’m talking about for a non problem makes sense.

And here I was thinking holding my pants up out of the binding made me look like a noob who hadn't figured out a better way. Turns out it is the better way.

It blows my mind how fucking stupid anyone would have to be to assume I made this thread without ever thinking of pulling my pants up before clicking in. So fucking stupid you’re unaware of how stupid you all are. Dunning Krugers. Worst part is you all think you’re funny too. Yikes.

Just curious, how high up the boot are you putting this and how will this not interfere with the snow gaiters (if your pants have them)?

^I’ll take a pic when it’s done. As low as possible that wont interfere with my bindings. Just to clip the outer layer of the pant out of the way.

I think that's a clever fix to a serious problem. But have you thought to pull the pantlegs up a bit prior to stepping into your bindings?

If you've got boots with walk mode, just flip of the lever and tuck your snow pants in for walking. If not, usually cuffing is the best bet.
