Keep old k2 PE's or buy new k2 press?

I work at Sports Authority so I get a big discount on everything they sell. My current skis are the 07-08 K2 Public Enemy skis. I've ridden them pretty hard (had to replace a rivet that blew out and filled several deep gashes on the bases). Also, a boarder hit the front of one of the skis pretty hard once and the edge bent inward and caused the base to bulge out a bit (just in like a one square cm area). It's near the tip so it doesn't really affect performance noticeably.

Mainly I want a new pair of skis, preferably rockered. The only twin tip that my Sports Authority has is the K2 Press. It looks like a good ski. Light, riveted, jib rocker and I like the graphics. I can get them for $165 with my employee discount. I'm not really looking to spend more than $400 this winter on gear, so I figure get the Presses and a new helmet, goggles, and maybe some new snowpants.

So do I save the $$$ and keep riding on my PE's or do I get the Presses for $165?

I'm in a similar situation and get the same bomb pricing but it's for Domain not Press. I'm currently just going to ride out the skis I have and get next years new skis.

It's a toss up really. If you're shredding park on a regular basis the new skis will get thrashed as well.

i figure if i can get a brand new pair of twin tips for 165 bucks that are rockered i might as well. that way i can use my old PE's for urban and when theres rocks and shit

The PRESS is fun. You can beat the hell out of them. And Jib Rocker is the shit. I took bindings off my old Extremes right after I skied Jib Rocker for the first time. Me rikey.
