Kartel 108 vs Movement Fly 105

So, I am looking for new skis and have now been able to scale it down to two different skis.

Either I go with full costum ON3P Kartel 108, as soft as it gets with them or I go cheaper and choose the Movement Fly 105. Which pair would you choose?

I am 182cm and my weight is around 75kg. I ski park a lot with the playful style and backcountry as well

Get the Movement Fly.. and then let me know how they are:)

I have no experience with Movement, or any knowledge of them really, but they look super fun, and you'll probably spend half the amount of a full custom ON3P.

I dont know but I don't think there is a way to get softer on3ps... I think you can only make them stiffer... so if you want a buttery/playful ski get the movements but if you want to charge get the kartels also the kartels have a lot of rocker so a lot more chattering. it's just personal preference at this point. Every skier skis different

If you make custom on3ps they make you choose softer carbon fiber and softer fiberglass.

^^ If you want

honestly bro go save yourself some money and go ski some euro skis and looks sick asf while doing it. Save for a season pass or beer or new bindings cause you'll probably break them from sending it

Well maybe, I do want the look pivot 14 so maybe the movement is a better ski to choose;)

don't forget about also looking at the fks 140 they're the same binding... but sometimes one is cheaper than the other

Oh I did not know that, thank you man!

If you look rossignol (who makes the fks) and look (who makes the pivot)... basically all of rossignol's bindings are the same as look's but i don't think there is a look pivot 14 that isn't wtr (walk to ride) just do a little bit of research

so apparently the WTR is a less durable binding than the non WTR one... but only in the toe piece personally I've broken the heel which is fully metal... so idk

The stock Kartel 108 is semi-stiff, but the softer fiberglass version... at your height weight I'd be worrying about you folding it. Pair I have this year is 19oz glass, extra carbon and I feel like they are too soft in deep untracked. No idea about the Movements since we just dont see them out here in WA, but I'd honestly try to find a pair of stock K108's to flex or better yet ski before you throw down for a custom.
