Kartel 108 mount

hey guys i plan on picking up a set of kartel 108s this weekend and wondering what you thought about mounting point. i had a pair of 2012 jefferys (110mm) before mounted on recommended and they felt maybe a bit far back for spinning and jibbing. is the kartel mount point further forward does anyone know? i was thinking maybe 1.5 ahead of recommended

for reference i am 6'1" 190lbs and ski western canada. really anywhere on the mountain but i like to go fast and jump and trick off everything. i have a park set up centre mounted that i enjoy for that and it's super fun but would like a bit more ski in front of me for charging through crud and whatnot.

I ski Kartel 108's and my older Jeffrey 122's both at -2.5 from true. I'm riding backwards for at lease part of every run so I prefer it closer to center and for me -2.5 has been money. I'm on 191's though so I've got more tip to play with than most, for what it's worth.
 
sounds like 2.5 from centre is money. thanks for the inout guys! ill think about the 191s actually since im a slightly bigger lad
 
Hey op, have you ridddn your kartels yet? Where did u end up mounting them? I'm getting a pair and I also can decide where to mount. For me I was thinking -3 from center

I ended up mounting mine at -2.5 and they ski great. Kind of wish I would've gone with the 186 instead of the 181 though.
