we all know about Karma (and if you haven't - i don't know if there's anything that can help you man - you're doomed for life). here's the question.

do you believe in Karma? why or why not?

I was in this wierd thinking Saturday night when i got home and decided to write two pages of branching and somehow I linked the belief of keeping good carma being linked to both religion (fate in life and society), and evolution (i can't talk about this one without explaining the whole thing - which will have to wait, 'cause i don't wanna right now)...

so Karma - real or bullshit?

HTings happening for a specific reason is always tricky to figure out. Because on one hand I believe yes. But at the same time, I don't believe in religion. So my point of everythng happening for a reason and there being predestined events is kind of killed by my lack of belief in religion. I strangely contradict my own beliefs. Hmmmmm....

like everything in life, it's all mental. yes, i think karma is real to some extent. but if you think about it all the time and make weird connections to things that arent's really related, then is that really karma or just your mind convincing itself that it is? things definately happen for a reason though. it's kind of freaky.

yea, I'm not a religious person (i actually think religion is a bunch of bullshit)... how could it be good? it cause's war and shit... if there is a god, do you actually think he wants you to kill others for shit that doesn't even matter in life? and the church is curupt anyways.

I think that Karma is different though... i don't really know how to put it into words, but I believe that humans are good people by nature and if you treat people (friends mostly, but strangers as well) with respect than you will be treated good in life. not just respect as in not breaking the law and shit, i mean respect your fucking parents (I hate it when people tell their parents they hate them and shit in a fit of rage - why say shit like that when you damn well know you don't hate them - unless they are just bad people - but than they desirve to have you leave them because you hate them - bad Karma)... well - you get the point...

so yea, in my mind religion and Karma aren't in the same pile...

I do believe in Karma...no matter what you believe in or how you live your life there are days that just seem to go your way and others where you just can't seem to feel better no matter what you try. I think some things have to be out of our control in order for life to continue to be interesting and challenging.

I went to the Karma club in Toronto once. There was a go go girl there wearing nothing but a gold thong and gold glitter. Her boobies were real. The Karma girls boobies were most definately real.

karma is a way of life for me. if i go out, and treat people with respect, then i'm going to get that same respect back. it's not a matter of luck or coincedence, it's a matter of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. this statement has long been used by religious people, but it can function for any person. if you want to be respected, the first step is to show others respect. it's as simple as that.

karma is real. a while ago a gave my parking ticket to some dude cause i had time left on it, and im a nice guy. then about 3 months later, some lady did the same for me. good karma is good, but bad karms's real bad...

Many people use the term Karma incorrectly outside of it's origin meaning in the Hindu religion. The Hindus believe in reincarnation. Karma is defined as how one's actions which determine the direction of their rebirth. For example if a person is cruel throughout their life they will be reborn as a fly or something shitty like that. This is an extreme conflict with Christianity since they do not believe in reincarnation. Instead Christans end up in Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory. This is the reason many people in our culture have adapted the term Karma to be more short term.

it could be real..but i beleive in coincidence too..i had a black cat..and on halloween 2 years ago he was hit by a car..he lived lost one of those big vampire toothers but lived...crazy shit but he disapeared a few weeks ago and he was the best cat u could ask for...he thought my sister was a bicth too so he always attacked her and that was cool..we think he was killed by a 'fisher' or 'fischer (sp?) its like a pretty big rodent thing that looks like an animal which i forgot its name..they come out at night and early morning..last time anyone saw him was me when i got on the bus in the 'early morning' so now im gonna get my dads shotgun out before school everyday incase i see one...i hope the bus driver doesnt mind..thanks for reading..if u didnt read..bad karma is gonna get you!

I definately believe in karma. I think these 'coincidences' happened too often.

ya, everything doesn't happen for a reason, it just happens. like someone asks why did god let her get hit by a car, we god had nothing to do with it, shit happens. hahaha
