Karma Kraze

lately it's gotten out of hand. people posting in threads saying "give me some karma," people pm'ing me asking for karma, people asking for it in their sigs...etc.
Let's not forget people that the whole point of karma is so you earn it, not ask for it, just like real life karma. If you do a good deed, you will most likely get karma. If you contribute a lot to the site, post smart and useful things, and generally don't piss people off, you will get your beloved karma. But, you will NOT get karma from asking me, and I hope others, because frankly you just suck if you ask for karma. Don't cunt up the forums and my message box by asking for karma because it's pathetic and totally defeats the purpose of the system. If you want to pay attention to it, fine, but keep it to yourself. If you really want karma just make smart contributions to this site and earn it how it's meant to be earned. I'll say now that when I see someone asking for karma, I'll give them -k (bwahaha)

honestly, i dislike the karma system. i hope they never remove the post count. that would make me angry!

I don't understand why some people have their karma go down if i rate them anything under a 10/10. Anyone??

haha i joined a give me karma cult. its just me and some other guy but i gave him a zero for giggles

Yeah, I don't like the karma system much. Look at the top 100 karma rated people, there are people with like a 4 average rating and 60000 karma points. Karma needs to be more based on what people rate you. But it works overall I guess, I have been giving a lot of 0/10 karma though recently.

just wondering... how can your home mountain/mountains be jay peak, mt snow, and stratton? they are on oppisite ends of the state of vermont.

mt snow and stratton are both within 20 mins of my house and i make trips up to jay a lot, i ski mostly at those 3 places so i consider them my home mtns

On the more optimistic side...do you remember how crummy the old system used to be, its grown in leaps and bounds from the past version, although it is still far from perfect it has come a long way, just keep that in mind

aight. that makes sense. thanks for the answer. im the same with the mountains i listed... except one is for weekdays/night skiing/after school and the other is for weekends/fulldays.

yeah i ski at berkshire east every day after school for race practice but i don't consider it my home mtn because it sucks haha
